Earlier this week Pinterest revealed the top wedding trends for 2022 based on searches, and boards created by their users. This year couples are exploring bold color pallettes, Hollywood influences, and sustainable decor.
Black is one of the boldest colors we are seeing this wedding season. There has been a 94% increase in searches for black wedding cakes. However, traditional concepts are not completly out the door. Celebrties like Emma Stone and Ariana Grande have influened GenZ with their pearl wedding rings. The new generation has dubbed this “pearlcore” and are choosing this aestectic when planning their weddings.
Lastly our creative couples are taking to the thrift store and yard sales for a more sustainable decor option. There is a trend in mix matched plates and repurposing old vases.
